This four-week project-based course will lead you through the steps of successful ink and watercolour botanical illustration. We will cover plant anatomy, composition, drawing techniques, inking and watercolour painting.
See your artistic skills develop in this supportive and creative atmosphere. It will be challenging, but also playful, satisfying and fun.
Misha is a science communicator and artist with a great deal of teaching experience. Her students (scientists and artists; young and old) appreciate the pace of her teaching and often comment that the balance of theory and practice equip them to take on new projects.
NB: for this course, students can choose their own subject (bring an image of a plant), work from real specimens (digital photos will need to be taken for reference), or decide on their specimen in the first workshop.
