Culture Days Hands-On Craft Activities on Broadway in Saskatoon!

  • Broadway Avenue Saskatoon, SK Canada (map)

The Saskatchewan Craft Council is featuring several hands-on Fine Craft activities for Culture Days! Children and adults alike are welcome to take part in these free activities on Saturday, September 26.

Monique Martin and Michael Peterson from the Saskatchewan Printmakers Association will lead a relief printing workshop in Affinity Gallery (813 Broadway Ave, Sasaktoon), inviting the community to help print a 62.7 m long wheat field – referencing the 627 km length of the Saskatchewan border with the USA. Heike Fink will lead a needle felting activity and Winston Quan will guide people through the basic steps of jewellery making, both outside Handmade House (710 Broadway Ave, Saskatoon). Clay Studio Three artists will teach the public to use air dry clay to make punch pots and small, hand built trays in their shop (#3-527 Main Street, Saskatoon).
