Box of ENG Rubies, 2014 Adapted design and stitching by Jean Ford from an original design by Grace Clements and Stephanie Brand.

“Then & Now: 40 Years of Inspiration” celebrates the Ruby Anniversary of the Edmonton Needlecraft Guild. This retrospective exhibit will juxtapose an early and recent piece from each member illustrating their individual journey as a needle artist within the collaborative atmosphere of the Guild. A variety of techniques will be shown, including Japanese embroidery, needle painting, needlepoint, crewelwork, petit point, samplers, cross-stitch, embellished quilting and mixed media.

The Edmonton Needlecraft Guild was founded in 1974 to bring together those involved in all levels of needlecraft to learn more and share their knowledge. Our goal is to work towards developing and maintaining high standards of design, colour and workmanship in all forms of needlecraft.
