On Thursday, February 12, 2015, the Manitoba Crafts Museum and Library invites the public to join us from 7:00-8:00 pm for an Artist Talk featuring artist PJ Anderson. Anderson will be speaking about her Travels With Clay, during which she has travelled to South Africa and China, and how she explores notions of culture and community in her artistic practice.
PJ Anderson is a Winnipeg based artist. Her work explores concepts of community and culture by fusing, modifying, and questioning aspects of cultural affinity in clay. Anderson has exhibited in Canada, the United States, South Africa, and China and her work can be found in collections worldwide. She has been the recipient of a Winnipeg Arts Council grant, a Manitoba Arts Council grant, and a Manitoba Craft Council bursary.
