The Richmond Museum presents an opportunity for museum professionals, students, textile artists and enthusiasts to learn about the care, preservation and restoration of textiles through hands-on activities and demonstrations from Conservator Rebecca Pavitt of Fine Art Conservation.
Rebecca Pavitt has worked in textile conservation since 1988. She has an MA in Art Conservation and is an accredited member of the Canadian Association of Professional Conservators. She has provided services for institutions like the Vancouver Art Gallery, Museum of Vancouver, Barkerville Historic Town and the University of British Columbia Special Collections.
