Meet Jennifer Morgan. Come on Friday, November 20, 2015 to The Factory Interpretation Centre in Port Union to hear Jennifer talk about her work and her studio practice. 7:30 pm.
Jennifer Morgan is a printmaker and illustrator living in St. John’s. In 2006, Jennifer first took a workshop on woodblock engraving to create illustrations for a novella, Dragon’s Song by Bernice Morgan. This letterpress chapbook, published in 2015 by Running the Goat Press, is set in Coley’s Point, Bay Roberts, where the Morgans have had a family home since 1876.
Jennifer will be the Craft Council's artist in residence in Port Union from November 19 to December 10. While she is on the Bonavista Peninsula, she will conduct workshops, talk to school children, and develop her own work. There will also be an opportunity for local craftspeople to have a mentoring session with Jennifer.

This residency project is a joint initiatve of the Craft Council of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Sir William F. Coaker Heritage Foundation.
