Gordon is a resident of Upper Tantallon, Nova Scotia and has been working with wood for over 20 years. He was introduced to woodturning 8 years ago and it has become a true passion.
Students will learn the basics of faceplate turning by turning a functional hardwood bowl. The proper methods of holding blanks while turning will be covered as well as the various tools & safety of the woodshop. Protective finishes will be discussed and available for use.
$80 + materials fee $30 payable to the instructor on November 14
