Resident Craft Conservator

  • Manitoba Crafts Museum and Library 1B - 183 Kennedy St Winnipeg, MB, R3C 1S6 Canada (map)

On Saturday, January 24, 2015, the Manitoba Crafts Museum and Library will be hosting a Resident Craft Conservator between 1 and 3 pm. The conservator, Amanda Harding, is a conservator of textile and organic artifacts at Parks Canada and Co-President at the Manitoba Crafts Museum and Library. The public is invited to bring in their artifacts to receive advice on how to store, handle, and care for artifacts as well as to learn what conservation and restoration treatments may be available and recommended. Please note that Amanda is a conservator, not an appraiser, therefore she will not be able to appraise the items brought in.

This is a drop in session, so pre-registration is not required.
